About Patricia

Patricia Gonzalez is a native Floridian and was born and raised in Florida. Her father was born in Haiti and came to the US to achieve the American dream. He proudly served 22 years in the US Navy and retired. Her mother is of Bahamian descent. She worked in the US Navy hospital as a nurse, retired, and then worked as a teacher. Patricia was raised as a US Navy brat, with strong Christian, Conservative, family values.

Patricia has always had a Servant’s heart. Since she was a child, she dreamed of becoming a public servant. She attended a field trip in the 7th grade to the US capital and since then, she has always wanted to become a Congresswoman. She was raised and taught that in God, all things are possible.

Patricia first began her working career in banking. She started as a bank teller and then quickly moved up to Account Representative. Along the way, she connected with many business owners. That is where she found an interest in owning her own business. To her, that was another part of her American dream. With lots of hard work and strong determination, she was able to achieve it by overcoming personal challenges and many bumps along the way. She is now a Mortgage Loan Originator.

Patricia loves our country because it allows everyone with a dream the opportunity to achieve it. This is exactly why she and her family decided that now is the time for her to run for Congress. Patricia has been a Republican her entire life. She is a believer in real democracy and wants to work for the people by protecting the rights and freedoms given to us by God and by the US Constitution.

Her family consists of her wonderful husband, children, a dog, a cat, and many other relatives! She is a pilot and in her spare time, she loves to fly Cessna planes.
